Even though it's totally non-chic to even breathe a word of support to anti-terrorism efforts lately, I have to say that Customs handled the situation as best they could have, at the time.

It really comes down to timing; if the guy's alleged murder spree in N.B. had been discovered more quickly, they'd have nailed him at the border crossing. As it was, they detained him for two hours anyway...a length of time that would have most of us screaming bloody murder (pardon the pun) at the aggravation and waste of our time.

Every one of us knows damn well that if we went through and they found something like your pocket knife or some shit, you'd be pissed as hell that they hassled you.

not to be argumentative but i expect to get hassled for my pocket knife when it comes to things like airports or borders.............i even expect to take off my boots and belt buckle! and theres a big difference between common articles and homemade hatchets, swords and bloody chainsaws


and i knew what he meant.........and if i was detained for two hours over my t-shirt i would be pissed.......if i'm detained for having large bloody weapons i'd have already planned on being there a while.
