I think the one sports team will out-sports the other sports team. Should be a good day of sports sportsmanship.

Denver needs to the refs to throw a historic number of holding/interference flags on Seattle. I'm convinced Seattle would be a 6-10 team if they were actually called for half the nonsense they commit.

I wanna see how bad Lynch carves em up with rushing yards. I'm rootin for Manning but I think I like the Seahawks better.

The Seahawks deserved to be in the playoffs. But based on what I saw in this game, they do not deserve to be in the Super Bowl. They were very good at exploiting opportunities, but not good at making them. And I don't think the Broncos will give them very many to exploit.

And I really don't understand why Lynch was the only plan they had. Unless this is an elaborate ruse to get the Broncos to only cover Lynch so Wilson can air out a bunch of 50 yard passes? Also I laugh heartily every time that cross-eyed picture of Beast Mode pops up in the corner of the screen. Hilarious.

But frankly, it was very hard for me to pay attention because we had a visiting 5 & 4 year old, I had five beers in me, and I was using all my powers of control to keep the language in check. So I will just have to believe you guys on all the calls the refs missed. The whole game the kids kept pointing at "the blue guy" and saying "He's gonna lose." "Thanks, kid. That's very reassuring."

5 year old: Mommy, I don't want to watch football!
Me: Too bad. It's the playoffs.
Mommy: After this is over we can watch something else, okay?
Me: Nope. That's when the Seahawks play.
5 year old: *complete bat-shit meltdown, screaming, crying*
Me: Come back next week and we'll watch cartoons. But right now we need to watch the Pats lose. Want a beer?

Welp.
So there we were, laughing at Joe Namath's fur coat and opening beers, when I looked up and went "uhm.... did you guys just see that?" "See what?" "I think the center just hiked the ball past Manning's head." "No way." "Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did."

I think my favorite part was when they Belichicked the score to rub it in. And Peyton's face was the gift that kept on giving. Hilarious.

I know several people that stopped watching at halftime, but there was no way I was doing that. It was a bloodbath for the ages!

We finished our beers any time there was an interception, return touchdown, or safety. I was fucking blitzed.
