Concert Review: White Wizzard/Icarus Witch/Widow in Marietta

Post by thegreatsouthernbrainfart » Thu September 6th, 2012, 12:23 pm

I know I'm a little late posting this here but here's a link to my review of the killer White Wizzard/Icarus Witch/Widow show at the 120 Music Hall. It was a killer display of three of metal's best current bands. I hope y'all dig it!

Cool review. I saw Widow once and to me it seemed like they didn't play songs, but just riffs for the guitarist to solo over. It got boring fast, but I'd check them out again based on your review.

I also saw Brazen Angel once and your review is spot on. The imagery overpowered the music. I remember the image they want to absolutely make sure you get, but I don't remember what they sound like at all.

I saw Widow once before about 3 years ago and it was a terrible performance. This one was fantastic but they need to work on their stage banter a bit. As for Brazen Angel, pfft. Whatevs...
