I'm told that a corrupted database file caused our five day or so blackout, but it has been repaired and all should be as it was. Sorry for any inconvenience. Continue spewing forth...

Correct. Bob ultimately took care of whatever the problem was.

Correct. Bob ultimately took care of whatever the problem was.

It might not be a bad idea to have a Bob backup. Four days is a long time.

I now have his direct contact info should something similar occur. It was fixed in just minutes after I finally tracked his e-mail address down. I don't actually know the guy, but I believe this forum was sort of his baby in the beginning, making him the sole user with maintenence capabilities... or something along those lines. Remeber that I'm still merely a carrier pigeon kind of guy in a Teletype world here.

I think the WREKage site was more of his main project. This forum is pretty much vanilla phpBB.

I just saw a call from Bob on my phone. I assumed it was about this, but the voice mail revealed it was just a 3 and a half minute long butt call.
