Seriously though, people like what they like, and it just so happens that the majority of the regular posters here like a lot of the same shit and aren't ashamed to call bullshit on false metal. If you can't handle someone else's opinion and some lighthearted shit talking when you post about some mainstream pseudo-metal on a forum that is pretty blatantly about underground shit then the internet probably isn't the place for you.

To be honest, we all have our guilty pleasures though. I'm not afraid to post about any band on this board, but I'd expect to take some heat for posting about someone like Marilyn Manson or some shit. Like you said, people like what they like, and sometimes it turns out to be "false" metal. I agree that a person should be able to take a ribbing for posting about mainstream shit without getting butt hurt over it, but I don't think any one of us can say we don't like that random mainstream band here and there.

One of my favorite bands happens to be Prong. You may commence throwing shit now... I can take it.

That's just the point Todd, all the regs here like a TON of different shit*... we just all happen to like giving each other and everyone else a hard time when they post something that we personally don't like.

*Except Stew, he really does just listen to Di'Anno era Maiden and Priest and he thinks you suck so you'll just have to accept that.

I listen to some super gay stuff, I'm cool with it. I don't try and make those particular bands or artists into something they're not. I know how to call a spade a spade. I don't listen to whatever I listen to for OTHER people to enjoy! (I WILL blast some shit I like though, and it'd be cool if ya did like it but it's cool if ya don't too)

Also, Dan is Sentenced biggest fanboy. Even post-Shadows. He should be murdered.
