Recent record purchases
I thought we already had a topic for this, but can't find it. The CD and downloading threads are now dormant, for whatever reason. I'm guessing that reflects people's listening habits and that most people are probably streaming music, now.
Anyway, for me:
the NWN diehard of Fallen Angel of Doom. Been contemplating this buy for quite awhile and a deal came up I couldn't refuse.
+10 kvlt points.

I think I've told this story more times than it warrants telling, but the short version: I scored Thunder in the East (along with Melissa, Don't Break the Oath, Bomber, and about 8 other 'classics') for a buck a piece at a Christian thrift store in Peachtree City in my junior or senior year of high school. Luck has never been as kind to me ever since...

How's Man God Giant if you've listened to it yet? I enjoyed their 2012 tapeBrian wrote:Courtesy of NWN's 40% off sale:

I've been really into the Irkallian Oracle demo tape lately. Just perfectly executed death metal. Long sold out so the mp3s have to do.
So imagine my surprise when a package from Sweden shows up in my mailbox containing the tape. I did not order it. No return address. One of life's greatest mysteries....
