I'm not sure how you guys feel about new Mayhem, but this sounds like it is in the same vein as Ordo Ad Chao.

I absolutely love it. I suspect many will not. Further, I hope the rest of the album is as schizo as that song. There's so much going on in that short duration.

Also, I'm hearing some kind of keyboards throughout that post-2:06 part after the mellow interlude, right? I asked that at metal-archives and the only person who responded said he heard nothing apart from guitar harmonies. It sounds like the kind of synthetic horns Emperor used on Anthems. Or I could be imagining this. Or that person had crap speakers. Or crap ears.

I'm pretty neutral on it. Sounds like any other 00s black metal band.
