Bands you listened to in your younger days.
This came up on the drive home last night. What are some bands you used to listen to, that now when you hear or think about it you go "meh"?
Some of ours were:
Arch Enemy
Black Label Society
Behemoth

Can't say I'm far off from this myself. Never cared much for Mayhem or DRI. And I don't know the last time I've listened to a full Maiden album, usually only a song here and there. Granted, I don't find myself being grossed out by these bands.Knucklehead wrote:Generubin wrote:Iron Maiden

hmmm
In Flames (their earlier stuff...never liked their later stuff. Too ghey)
Dimmu Borgir
Cradle of Filth
I still like early stuff from In Flames and most of Dimmu Borgir's stuff but I'm not obsessed like I was 10 or 11 years ago.
CoF...was picky about what songs I liked from them from the get go and now, they're definitely meh. I did listen to them in high school because of their shock factor. Now I could give 2 shits about that.

Exactly, it's not that I hate them or I refuse to listen to them. I'm just not interested in it anyway. However, I am going to take my girlfriend to see DRI live since she likes punk music. I'm going to pass on the Mayhem/Watain tour.Thrashmania wrote:Can't say I'm far off from this myself. Never cared much for Mayhem or DRI.
