Venues

Seems like almost every show is now at the Masquerade (sucks) or 529 (cool). I've noticed a decrease in metal bookings at the EARL, Basement and Drunken Unicorn. Any reason for that?

A deal for which I'm extremely grateful. Still love the Earl, though.

Does anyone know who's been booking at the old Roxy recently? Been told by a few folks that the idea is hopefully to book some of these bigger tours before the Masquerade snaps them up and makes them sound like shit. Whoever you are (if this is true), thank you.

Earl is my fave venue as well, and if this promoter can snap up bigger shows before the Masq fucks them up, more power to him/her.
