Keep in mind, we're talking 1986 dollars here. [Checks on what $8.50 in 1986 would be today]. Oh, that would still be only $20.00 to see coked-out-of-their-minds Megadeth.

touring-level heavy metal bands playing odd venues is something that I wish I had experienced... I guess since the rise in popularity of the internet it's just too easy to book legitimate music venues. but shit like youth centers, school gymnasiums, rockabilly bars, shopping malls, etc. is something that just doesn't happen any more.
I don't think the pandemic is going to drive us quite all the way there, but if some aspects of booking/shows go back to that kind of DIY/by any means necessary approach, it won't bother me too much. I don't see how socially distanced "real" shows will be economically feasible for professional-level bands, venues or punters. I don't want to see clubs close, but I really loved that wild west way of doing shit in back in the Dark Ages.

I'd far more than $20 to see that classic-era Hallows Eve now!

It's cool to everything y'all have posted. It's nice to see faces that I pretty much only see at shows. The cabin fever is setting in...

I'll try to dig up some pics.

Well, I tried to upload a bunch from my iCloud account and from the desktop, but only these met the file size requirement and weren't too large. I'll try again. Maybe I can do it right from my phone.

Thanks! I suppose all that technical talk means something important. I'll see if I can add some more now.

Here's some random show pics, graffiti I found in Brighton, a dumb tattoo I got, some other shit. Most are a within a year before the pandemic started. Some are older.

That country singer lookin' dude with the acoustic guitar is Channing Wilson. He's local and pretty good if you like the Outlaw stuff. Even good country is hit or miss with me. I had no idea who he was when I saw him open for Steve Earle. I was very impressed.
