ATTENTION BANDS.....i have a question

Post by BlazeTSU » Sun October 16th, 2005, 2:08 pm

the souls unrest needs a practice space and i'm trying to find somewhere that will let us play. i've talked to a few self-storage places and they all say the same thing "we don't allow bands to play here anymore"

so, my question is......WHERE DOES YOUR BAND PRACTICE????

i'm trying to find one ASAP so any help would be greatly appreciated

Kshat practices in pats basement and Depression practices in a storage space. If you havent tried every storage space id keep trying until you have asked them all. But I cant think of any other type of a place that would let bands practice. What about Blackbox or a place like that?

There is a nice rehersal studio/warehouse off of peachtree industrial blvd right before you get to I-285. The name slips my mind right now. Its right behind the Lexus dealership, the actual road it is on is green industrial way I think. Vision studios? could be the name, I believe there is another called Avatar. Im sure a google search will turn up some results.

Package and Prime Mover have a storage space, but we're down on the southside. I'd check those as they're way cheaper than the "According to Hoyle" rehearsal studios. If you do decide to go that route, there's another place off of Northside Drive that used to be called "2 High" studios that has decent rates from what I understand/remember.

Best of Luck,

we used to play at the blackbox, which was awesome but it has since shut its doors. we've been jamming in the new guitarists garage but its time to find a new place to practice........i'm going to keep pounding the storage places for sure.

we actually used to practice at one of those. its "noah's ark storage" and has a picture of the ark with cartoon animals as the logo. the one that we used to practice at is a little far from all of us at the moment but i'll search it and see if there are any closer...........thanks for reminding me of the name.

Yet another reason to shed a tear over the closing of the Wreck Room....remember all the practice spaces they had? THAT was a fun vibe. Some good bands there, too.
