King Diamond 10/25

Post by Azrael » Wed July 31st, 2024, 5:16 pm

Friday 10/25 at the Eastern with Overkill and more.

I'll be in Philly promoting our new record. That's cool Myrkur is poser shit anyway. Overkill is ok I guess, not really. I'm in a fucking terrible mood today.

Have a ticket and won’t be able to attend— have to work in Columbia, SC that Friday.

Have sold a few other tix on this forum in the past— Saxon, UDO, BOC.

Paid $59, will sell for $45– general admission at the Eastern.
Must have AXS, will transfer once payment received.

Message me if interested.

And so... how was it? Hated to miss this at The Eastern. Quickly becoming my favorite mid sized venue.

Ended up going to the Opeth show instead and went up to Nashville for the weekend. Based on the setlist, I don't regret it. Did anyone go?

I thought King Diamond was great! Played a good chunk from a lot of earlier albums, and had a stage setup and show that we're all familiar with but it's still awesome. Overkill had a bunch of hired guns on tour with them this go 'round and felt a little lifeless onstage, sans Bobby.

That Opeth show was pretty awesome too (except for the assigned floor seating folding chairs).

I've thoroughly enjoyed every single show I've seen there. I'm in love with the venue. I appreciate that there are virtually no bad sightlines, sound is solid or better anywhere you're at, multiple bars (bar prices suck but it comes with the territory). The main drawback is just the cost of everything (parking, beer, tickets etc). I'd still take it over Masq Heaven, Tabernacle, Roxy, Buckhead Theatre et al

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
