I don't care for Dragonforce, at least not since that Inhuman Rampage whatsit record, but Turisas is my number 1 right now.
We'll actually be heading down to Daytona to visit with my dad that night but the good news is they're playing in Orlando the next day!
Road trip! Road trip! Road trip!

Turisas is fucking amazing live. Seriously. If you don't know about them, go find out. I think they probably sounded better live than on album. And this was at the Masquerade. Part of it is they use a fiddle and accordian live, and the albums have orchestrations(probably synth or something, still good).
Not to mention the war paint and everything else. They know how to get a crowd into their music.
If I had to pick best band at Pagan Fest, they edge over the others slightly.

Powerglove was cool...Turisas was amazing. We started a pit and I got to meet the accordianist and guitarist. They said they were gonna headline the US in Spring 2009.
Dragonforce were ok. Lots of little kids (like 6 - 10) and girls. Pretty awesome night, but Turisas was the best by far.

It was pretty full downstairs with a few people in the balcony. So a pretty good crowd.

Yeah pretty much but there were some true fans there and people there for Turisas and stuff like that. And there were pits for Turisas and Dragonforce so it wasn't completely a gay crowd.
