they're probably the only club willing to pay guarantees for metal shows. for that I am thankful.

I get that. What I dont get is why metal bands have such huge guarantees. Example: Suffocation wants like $12,000 each night. I completely lost all respect for them when I found out someone offered like $10,000 to play somewhere but didnt because they couldnt be paid their full amount.

In before the they have to have money to pay their bills and live....

But, ill see this show. Krisiun rules.

Immolation is one of my favorite bands, I'll definitely be there for this one. Nile is great live and Krisiun always brings their shit. This will be awesome.

This show is going to be awesome for sure, Nile and Immolation are both going to be supporting new albums when this tour hits too.

yeah I know they charge alot for many shows like in the $20-$30 range but can they take that money and pay Suffocation (for example) with that money even though it was earned from another show? I just don't think that's right...but hell if I know, I'm not in this business! You would know better than me.

Should be an excellent show!

As for not playing a gig because it would be $2,000 less than their normal guarantee......whew. If the tour is THAT tight on cash, it was probably too risky to begin with.

(I distinctly recall a tour where Dream Theater accepted $2k less than their normal guarantee in order to play a larger hall...and it worked out well for everyone concerned.)
