Ozric Tentacles is a unique phenomenon. Long before they released a record or a CD they had become a group of musicians whose name was often on the tongues of the frequenters of the mid '80s UK underground and alternative, psychedelic festival circuit. Continuing a legacy of brilliant instrumental work over the last sixteen years, The Ozric's combine progressive jazz and reggae rhythms with spacey synth and gripping guitar work to create a musical landscape of color, depth and motion.

One of my favorite bands of all time. Their Live Underslunky CD is easily in my Top 5 ever.

This will be a weird show, since it is downstairs in Hell.

I have to assume the amazingly low ticket price means they won't be bringing their full light show, which would have been really cool. They probably couldn't have projected it upstairs in Heaven, either.....

The timing could be better; I'll have to be at Dragon*Con that day for setup and band placement...but I'm hoping to slip out long enough to see this show.
