I really dig CTS.

I hear so much really heavy shit that it's nice to hear something different every now and again. I do miss the rawness of their early stuff (especially when they'd do aggressive vox with 2 or 3 of them singing at the same time), but I like a lot of the directions they take musically.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

I was never really into High On Fire. They aren't my kind of music, but they were okay live the 3rd time. Converge played a good set, the mosh pit was awesome (even though some dumbass decided they had to rip my jacket off and tore some of the zipper up; fucking brand new and everything), but honestly I don't really care for Converge's music. I guess it is because I have never been into the hardcore scene. Mastodon kind of bored me to be honest. It was the first time I heard the full CD and I don't really care for it; it isn't something I can get into. Dethklok was fun, but kind of disappointing, because when I saw them last year their act was really funny, but they just played the same skit as last year. The show was still fun, but the show kind of bored me over all. I spent more money on the show than I would have liked to yesterday.

I found crack the skye to only get better with more listens. I enjoy it WAY more now than when it first came out.

CtS is trash, if they did play the whole thing straight through I'm not too terribly upset that I couldn't go

dethklok being an actual touring band is laughable

Didn't get to see but 2 songs of High On Fire, so i'm sore about that.

Converge managed to confuse the hell out of me. Some songs were great, some songs weren't, and i swear up and down that they performed one song 3 times. I think the vocalist - while really energetic - is really weak... i don't get it.

Mastodon made me change my opinion on CTS - even if i still think Oblivion and Divinations are still very poor songs, that performance of The Czar was awesome and made my night. Very glad then went back for a little too - though, i was so ready for March Of The Fire Ants... ah well.

Dethklok was intense live, and the pits were awesome. I missed them the last time they performed at The Tabernacle, so this was great for me.
