damn you obviously never been to Maryland Deathfest then!

When Mayhem went on, that shit was out of control! The barricades in the front and the fence on the side BOTH got knocked down. I've seen plenty of pits at black metal shows...I guess it's weird if it's an atmospheric black metal band but if they're fast and heavy like Nachtmystium, then I don't think it's too out of place....especially if they're playing shit like GG Allin.
ps - I'm glad you didn't get thrown out. Yeah I agree it sucks when accused of doing something you didn't do.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I banged my head so hard I don't remember what else they played. Anyone have the setlist?
This one was on metalsetlists.com for Sonar in Baltimore the night before. I figure it's pretty close, but please make corrections.
with satan and victorious weapons
on darkened wings
into utter madness
blooddawn
still fucking dead
beyond the grace of god
materialized in stone
phosphorous redeemer
azrael
the levelling dust
baptism by fire
to redirect perdition
steel inferno
wolves

Please tell me you weren't parked in the lot.
Okay. I wasn't parked in the lot.
I parked up the hill past the bridge in the parking lot behind the Kroger (right under the Kroger sign). The side-road was full and the Masq's lot looked pretty full and they were charging $5.
I was actually more worried about my car getting towed or booted, but I guess I paid the price for being a pay-parking snob.
I left my iphone in the console like a dumbass and spent the whole show sweating about it. Seems I had reason to worry. What did they take?
They took weird shit. Either they were the world's most incompetent thieves, or they got surprised in the act.
They took a 400W DC-to-AC converter, but not my iPod. They took a small backpack with gym-clothes in it, but not my radar detector -- which they probably thought was a GPS. They took the cooler I use to take lunches to work. Somehow I doubt they'll be interested in the new Robert Jordan hardback that happened to be inside it.....
I'm kinda hoping they OD on my gout medicine, which was also in the lunch cooler.

I used to park behind the Kroger when I could run fast.

Now I spring for the $5. It is my fervent hope that the teenager running the lot is enough of a deterrent to keep my shit intact. So far so good.
Then again, maybe they would have left my iPhone and taken my springy Elvis instead. Stupid crackheads.

Or something.

Let's face it, if it weren't for drugs we'd have no music at all. Just maybe sometimes they could do the drugs and not break into our cars? Maybe find a more creative outlet than stealing Paul's lunch.

That's weird. At least they didn't take much of value, so as long as they didn't screw your car up breaking in. I hope they are on immuno-suppressors and take your gout medicine because then they might die.
How is the new Jordan novel? Did Sanderson do a good job? I was kind of getting burnt out by book 7 or 8 last time I read through the series.

Yeah, did your car get screwed up from this? I remember when Tommy's truck got broken into and his truck wasn't fucked up except for where they put the srewdriver into his door handle. BUT they actually took stuff that had a high value (like his gun for instance)
I'm glad they took weird stuff out of your car instead...at the Ensiferum show, someone's car got broken into and it turns out they took 2 laptops out of it.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Well a cooler and backpack are just right for hobo's, eh! Besides however leaves 2 laptops in their vehicle almost deserves to have them stolen especially at a metal show!
