All kidding aside, if they play mostly old stuff I'd love to see 'em. Obsolete and Demanufacture are two of my favorite albums.

I dont think I could have said it any better.

they played here in early 05...damn, that was 5 years ago but it doesn't seem that long ago! I'd go see them again as well.

Sooo....are they Christian now or some shit? That's pretty gay imo. When they were here last, they had some guy handing out after show passes at the door to any girls who looked like they would put out. That's retarded if they are trying to 'repent' for that.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

For that? I doubt it. I guess it's just how they identify themselves now.

Everything I've heard off of the new album is pretty meh but I'd totally go see them live to hear the old tracks and since the "Reformed" band includes half of Strapping Young Lad (Gene Hoglan on drums and Byron Stroud on bass).
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Gene Hoglan is worth the price of admission alone. Nice guy, too.

Definitely true! He even made Unearth sound good.

LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking. Heck, that was an awesome night of drumming, with Gene Hoglan and Hellhammer sharing the same stage within an hour...and both kicking ass, despite being tour-replacements.

--Or the time at Sounds of the Underground when Gene played twice, first for Strapping Young Lad and then AGAIN for Opeth. :!:
