Sybaritic is going to play the "Slave To The Metal Show" at the Vinyl on Saturday, March 13th. The event is hosted by Juliya Chernetsky(Mistress Juliya, formerly Uranium and Slave to the metal, current host of FUSE TV's Let it Rock)
So this is the deal: We have to sell a minimum of 50 tickets at $10 bucks a piece. Most of you know that we never make a penny off of selling tickets, and we have to give them all the money from the ticket sales. Now, i understand being broke and all, but we could really use your help. You shall have our eternal gratitude if you help us out and perhaps purchase a ticket from us. You can attend the friday's show with the same ticket, so that's pretty cool. If you choose to come, contact us and one of us will meet up with you anywhere in the Atlanta area.

Yeah dude, i doubt that every band will end up selling 50 tickets anyway, but we'll damn sure try to pull it off. And i honestly don't know much about that chick. We think it's a good opportunity for us to play in front of people who haven't heard of us yet, so why not? And we would really appreciate anyone who'd buy a ticket from us, but either way, it's all good. I actually watched Uranium pretty regularly when it was on for the occasional cool video. Her "interviews" were usually worth a good laugh. She'd get ripped a new one pretty much every time by people like Karl Sanders, Tomas Haake, Mikael Akerfeldt, and even Lemmy. One particularly memorable moment was when she started her Q & A with Opeth by nonchalantly admitting that she'd never even heard the band and was basing her questions from some shit she read in Revolver.
