Anthrax/Megadeth/Slayer Oct. 1st
I know there's no way everyone doesn't know all about this, but I don't see a topic for it so I'm making a topic for it for the hell of it, roll call, discussion, etc.
I personally can't wait to see Anthrax with Joey Belladonna back on vocals. super stoked. Also super amped to see Megadeth play Rust in Peace, and just see these two bands in general.
I don't really care so much for slayer's performances i've seen from recent videos though so i'll probably duck out shortly after Megadeth

It's under a long ass title. Something to do with Reliving Clash of the Titans.
Anywho,
TEN MORE DAYS! FUCK YEAH!

Wait. Are they still doing the whole album thing with that? Kinda odd since they just did that here a few months back. It was very good, but still...SlashAndThrash wrote:... super amped to see Megadeth play Rust in Peace...
All the recent Slayer footage I've seen (TV slots, that movie from Bulgaria) have been pretty inspired. If they are ever to bring their A game I would think it would be on this tour. I wouldn't jump before at least giving them a shot.

Yeah, um. Rust in Peace. Got it the first time. Let's see some "sets." How about that?
Plus, Seasons... Only tunes I like are "War Ensemble," "Dead Skin Mask," and "Hallowed Point."
"Expendable Youth," "Skeletons of Society," and "Blood Red" are all the same tune, right? And the title-track, peeeee-youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
I'm basically paying $50 to hear "Angel of Death" and "Chemical Warfare."

i like it when it's an album i actually like...the majority of seasons is boring watered down garbage in comparison with their '86 and before output.Mortis_Kull wrote:I never liked the 'whole album' trend. =\

I already saw 'Deth do their rust album, I really just want to hear shit like killing is my business.
Slayer i'm pretty stoked about, but I would like a set that is just loaded with 80's classics and thats it.
I've googled Anthrax set list for the big 4 show,it's pretty decent.
I decided to not shell out the dough for the general admission, hopefully it will be easy to just walk down there later that night.

I guess I'm alone in digging Seasons. I like the last couple albums, too.
The whole album trend is pretty ghey, though I will admit to digging seeing Reign in Blood a few years back. As far as I know, that was the first time anyone did that, but I could easily be wrong. I'd be down for Hell Awaits, too, as that's my fave Slayer album. Still, I rather hear a mixed set that's just heavy with cuts from it.
