Just sounds that way to me. Like some nerds were in their parents house while Pops was watching Fox News and heard the term. Voila! The band was named.

I checked out Dissent. Just not doing it for me.

Again, too bad we can't split that ticket.

I don't think they sound like Dying Fetus. They have way more punk/grind riffs, and WAY less breakdown riffs.

I just noticed this. That's good enough for me. 3 bands in a row that I want to see and I get to leave at a decent hour.

Misery Index were really good, but I've always been into their live show. It made me realize I hadn't seen them since like 2008. What was really weird is that Netherton, was on the left instead of the middle and the guitarist was being the "front man," thanking the crowd, and announcing the songs. They played almost all new stuff (2010) which makes sense since they were an opening band. The oldest song they played was from Discordia, but whatever, still good. And it was weird not seeing Sparky with them.

Skeletonwitch was good. I would have enjoyed their set more if it didn't follow Misery Index's, which I thought was just awesome, so anything that came after just couldn't top it for me. I still liked it, just not as much.

Trap Them wasn't bad. I watched two songs from Job For a Cowboy and took off. When that dude does high vocals he sounds like a cartoon and I couldn't take it seriously.
