How many people know that Fuck the Facts played at 529 tonight(7/24) for FREE? Didn't appear to be many as I heard about it last minute. Another great job of promotion.

It's not even on the radar if there is no promotion for it. Apparently Vegan Coke booked it and had some 'math' rock bands with them. Which probably worked out better in the donation department then if the metal/punk crowd would've showed up. There were more people at this show than showed up for their show at Swayze's a few years ago.

I knew about this a few days ago just because one of my I_LOVE_ZUCKERPENIS friend's band played support. Would've posted here about it had I known there would be any interest. But yeah, I wouldn't even be surprised if Vegan Coke didn't promote wider just so they could tailor the audience to their liking

I think they were letting 18+ in last night. And another show that I saw a flyer for in Lil 5 but nowhere else is Asshole Parade Sat night. Not sure exactly other than it's a house show off Moreland.

They killed it last night even though the crowd was shitty. It was funny watching Mel scream directly into peoples faces in the front who were just standing there probably expecting more math rock.

Had I known about the show, I would have gone... I missed them a few years ago, but for good reason - I was at the Carcass show above them.
