Negura Bunget

Post by SHRED FOR SATIN » Thu July 28th, 2011, 2:55 pm

Negură Bunget is in the process of planning a US tour for next year; any venues interested in booking them, or if anyone knows of a good place for them to play please get in contact with me via PM.

I tried again to get into this band recently since I didn't really see what was so great about Om. I got their first 2 albums because I heard they were different but it was just decent. What album is their best?

GameFreac, if you want to really appreciate OM (their best album), find a good pair of headphones, turn off all the lights at about 2am, get in bed, close your eyes, and listen (don't fall asleep though). If you don't like it, I don't know what to say.

Wait, didn't all the original members leave the band? Hmm

Negura Bunget is an amazing band. This show should probably be at The Earl. OM is their best, but I also love their recent re-release of Maiestrit. Well, really, they've never released a bad song. Yes, there was a lot of line up turnover, only one guy is still there from the OM days, but they're still essentially the same band.

Been into their early work, I have the box set of three. Haven't really heard much else though.

i agree!! virstele pamintului manages to be achingly beautiful and totally brutal - i think the earl would be better atmospherically for a negura bunget show but i would go see them anywhere !!!! i hope atl gets a show!!!

It's probably gonna be around May/June of 2012 around their MDF appearance.
