I was really impressed with how well everything went. Inquisition's set fucking floored me. Good going, whoever.
glad everyone thought so highly of the show, including my buddies Andy and Mark from Richmond who sent me the show. I booked the show in exactly a weeks notice, and i thought it was phenomenal that there was that big of a turn out, thank you Abyssus and Disfigurement for helping me promote/making fliers and Neal for helping with the sound
Look out for a full article in Creative Loafing with some bad ass pictures from the show.
Thanks everyone for coming out and being awesome, see ya next time

well i wasn't just referring to abyssus. ive been to the archive gallery only twice but that was my experience both times. true, where they set up isn't relevant, but my main point was in the drum mics. the bands on stage had them and i think it really helped the sound since it's a rather large room in comparison to some of the other DIY venues.
i'm not trying to rip on the show set up. it was awesome. i'm just giving a suggestion that i think will make shows even better in the future.

Ha, ha...
Late chiming in on this one since I skipped town right after, but it's worth a mention again about how good it was. PA sounded great in spite of the short. Can't believe how laid back the Inquisition guys are. Pretty nice dudes actually.

I don't know anything about drum mics, but I do know that dude's china looked like someone took a huge bite out of it. I figured it was just gonna shatter once he hit it, but I guess it hung on.

Abyssus kicked ass, and when they were done I said to badcarburetor, "Gee, I didn't notice the cracked china at all!" Next Abyssus show I see, I'll toss one of mine in the car and loan it to him. Poor dude.
Inquisition super kicked ass even with that weird short. And if I could get all girly for a moment, what's the name of the rock show dog that patrolled the room? What a sweetie. Terrible guard dog, that one.

wish I could've made this... Gonna try to see 'em with Dark Funeral but something tells me the Archive Gallery has a more
fitting atmosphere than the Heaven stage of the Masquerade

Is Inquisition really on that bill? The Masquerade site shows:
Dark Funeral
Belphegor, Abigail Williams, Gigan
Nothing is booked in Hell that night. Maybe it will get moved downstairs.

From what I understood belphegor isn't on it anymore and inquisition took their place. Not sure though.
