I have. I forget what show it was for but I do remember that I had to come on a night when they had a show (because the box office will be open then of course). I got in line with a bunch of folks who were there for the show that night, bought tickets to the show I wanted to go to and then left. Yeah, I don't think they're box office is open during the day so that's why I had to come on a show night.

It's been a while, but yeah l have. I remember popping over before Thrashers games to grab tickets. Check the Tabernacle's website for specifics, but l think the box office opens an hour before shows. I seriously doubt this should will sell out so l'm holding out for picking up tickets right beforehand, hopefully from some schlep trying to offload on the cheap.

If I had the extra cash to rent a room right now, I would go just to see Testament again over 20 years later. Legacy and New Order tours were brutal. Sucks not knowing any sober people who like metal up here.

I always buy at the door. Saves me so much. Then I lose it all on their $10 beers.

We all like to get drunk but we're not drunks!

I hate that I have to miss this! It's just too damn expensive to be driving back and forth all the time plus I'd be missing some classes. Y'all have fun!

I honestly can't think of a show that I've been to since turning 21 in which I haven't successfully concealed, and gotten drunk off of, boot liquor.

Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "You really get drunk at every show?" Yes. Yes I fucking do.

Life is but an airplane-sized whiskey bottle.
Thanks,

I'm 22 and still haven't been drunk at a show. I'm either always driving or want to remember the bands. I need to do it some day though.

Out of the hundreds of shows I've been to, I've only been drunk (not buzzed...been buzzed at plenty!) at only a few. It may be less than 10. I'm with you on wanting to remember the bands. The first show I went to after I turned 21 was Megadeth when they played outside at The Masquerade...I got so fucking hammered that night. I don't remember a single song they played, passed out at the bus stop while waiting for the bus and puked at the marta station. Hahahaha it was quite an experience but uhhh I think I had my fare share of gettin tanked at a show to last me a life time!

Nowadays, I'm usually driving too so I'll have a beer or three then that's that!

I meant a sober person to drive my drunk ass home. Jail food sucks. That shit on a "bologna" sandwich has got to be boiled football.

Yeah, I don't mean getting totally shitty, but I've already been down DUI street, so I won't drive if I have even a beer or two. Besides, in most cases, it isn't the night you don't remember driving home (you got there, didn't ya?) when they get you, it's the night you thought you were ok. Ok, no more preachy shit from me...

I just checked the Tabernacle website and their box office is open whenever there's a show. Unfortunately there's no show there tonight, so I'll either order online or just get one tomorrow.

How much higher are door tix than pre-show tix? I think Masquerade tacks on like $2. Don't know about the Tabernacle.
