It's just some shitty automated answering machine. The general rule is that the lots open 2 hours before show time, but I know for a fact at 311 shows I've seen in the past, it's been 4 or 5 hours. They even made a special announcement for the Jimmy Buffett show on the phoneline saying it'd open at 12 (of course they haven't updated it even though the show was over a week ago.....).

If anyone knows how to get in touch with a real person there, that'd rule.

Good man, I will be shooting for a 4pm - 5pm arrival time. I haven't been to Lakewood in forever, is there just one big lot? I assume you have to pay to park?

2 big lots actually. 1 on each side of the venue.

The paved lot is on Pryor St. Pretty sure they charge to park on that side.

The gravel lot is off Lakewood Ave and is usually free.

Alright, so we need to decide on a lot, free sounds good to me... is there any sort "policing" of said lots?

There's security patrolling both lots, but we shouldn't have any problem as long as we're not hitting massive Marley spliffs (openly) and as long as whatever violence is visited upon Kagan doesn't require medical attention.

"VIP" (whateverdafugdatmeans) parking is $25 and that can be purchased with instant printing through Ticketmaster. I don't know if there is other official parking. There are bootleg lots all over the place. I really like my windows so I coughed up for the official lot.

Let's do the gravel lot.

A grill would be too much of a pain in the ass so does anyone have food ideas? Or just BEER?!?!?!?

Not sure what to do if we don't grill aside from everyone just being on their own food wise. If no one has one of the small portable charcoal grills that's probably just how it will have to be... BEEEEEEER!
