It would have been better if the vocals had been properly mic'd. Couldn't hear a damn word.

Though not the metal band of the year, no one had a religious experience at this show. The whole set was marred by technical issues. They couldn't play more than two songs in a row before having to stop for some reason. The show had no momentum. No one could hear any of the vocals at all.

well on the second to the last song , I began hearing the ghost of vocals so I moved back to what was apparently the make out section, and could hear the vocals fine , so the last song was awesome,

Lol-worthy "Jam session" at the end of the set, seriously was badass but then got laughably bad and continued being shit for like 25 minutes

Sounds like a remarkably apt duplication of the recorded material then.

I enjoy the disc, but live it just didn't work very well. I'll give them another chance the next time they come around though.

In all due fairness to The Earl, Pallbearer was running late and didn't show up until right after the last opener finished..

Yep.

Their tone and volume were ON POINT. But I feel I can't make a final judgement since I heard no vocals. Definitely more enjoyable live than recorded, imo, even with fuck-ups and without vocals. I'd see them again.
