9/8 - Steel Bearing Hand, Dropout, The Furiant

Post by Ryan » Tue August 27th, 2013, 8:39 am

@ Masquerade (Purgatory)

7pm / $6 adv.

Steel Bearing Hand (TX)

Dropout
http://dropoutatl.bandcamp.com/

The Furiant
http://thefuriant1.bandcamp.com/

Shame this is at the masq but Steel Bearing Hand fucking rips it. Would be all over this shit if I could get down there. Goes everywhere from Motorhead-esque speed metal to death metal to thrash to black metal. Reminds me pretty heavily of Battlemaster in parts as well. Highly rec'd.

Just listened to The Furiant and they're fucking awful so maybe show up late and catch Dropout and SBH.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

Haha honesty is the best policy... plus I can say with a fair amount of certainty that the majority of folks here will have the exact same opinion on both the masq, Furian, and battle plan if they choose to go.

I'm going to the Maiden show and ProgPower and since I'll already be in Atlanta I might consider this. Would you say its worth staying an extra day to catch this?
