They played a song that they called a tribute to Maiden, but they didn't actually play a Maiden song. They did the same thing at the Maryland Deathfest.

Edit: I want to say it was either Time Heals Nothing, or Tragedy of The Faithful.

Hmm... I'm about to watch that video again and I'll let you know, but I think it was the latter.

BTW, whoever was there from this board, I wish I knew your real names and faces, it would have been cool to say hi to ya. I did meet one guy from here, but I don't know your board nickname -- the guy who talked to me about the Meehans DVD.

From here to Eternity, they played the little melody riff like 15 seconds into the song. Maybe they played something else, but thats what I thought it was.

fuck yeah! Me too! I didn't know that was you who was filming...you had on a red shirt and a skirt right? I had on a regular black wife beater and jeans...I was headbanging for most of it.

Demericous really surprised me...I heard them on record and wasn't too impressed but live, they're fuckin awesome! It was my 9th time seeing Withered and they put on a good set too. Grave performed at my first death metal show ever in June of 2003 with Immolation and I was really happy that I got to see them again. They were fuckin great and I'm glad they played Into the Grave! Before this show, I haven't heard too much of Vital Remains material but after seeing them live, I may just have to buy some of their CDs. and I've been wating to see Dismember for fucking ever now and I finally got to see them. I brought a poster with me from a festival in Europe from May of 2005 (that I missed by 1 day btw) and Dismember was the headliner for that show...I got one of the dudes from Dismember to sign it and he was all like "now you get to make up for not being able to see us then" or something along those lines. oh...and if the dude from Zoroaster is on this forum, yeah I feel like an ass!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Yeah that was me. I had on the same shoes I wore at work because I didn't want to bother bringing my shoes that looked more "metal" -- so my feet were blistered when I got home. (I'm just picturing the guys rolling their eyes at this talk about shoes.)

Aw, damn I wish I'd known you were there... I'd have liked to have talked to you. I did see quite a few people I have met before at other shows, or members of bands -- such as "the dude from Zoroaster" heh and Beau from Waited was there. I saw tons of people I think I recognized but didn't know their names.

Yeah Demiricous ruled... I am gonna have to buy some CDs... I want to get Withered's new one, and some from the others too. But damn I'm broke! When I went back to Deathgasm the next day to pick up the adapter I was looking at all the stuff there, just itching to buy something -- man it sucks being broke! I would also have liked to have bought a Dismember Tshirt and have them sign it -- would have been great to have along with the signed Emperor tshirt. But I do have one souvenir from that show with the footage I got so I can't complain too much.

I always like to wear my plaid "standing out in the crowd" shoes when I go to a show.

I really wish I could've gone to this show, being broke and like 6 hours away sucks :(

That was me. I'm slowly putting names to faces, too. I think I might have seen Amanda from WNGTI at the show. Thanks again for the tickets.

I'm glad you said that, because I've been listening to that on the footage over and over and I still can't make out what he said when he announced the song. It was mostly his accent, and a little distortion in the acoustics made it worse. But the sound quality in the footage for the most part kicks ass.
If I can get the ok from the bands that played that night I'll make a few copies of it for people here who weren't able to get to that show and want to see it.
