Missed Tribulation. Didn't really care about In Solitude.

Dunno about Watain. They did not smell of death. Gimmick or not, I think it is integral to the experience. They played a bunch of old songs:
Satan's Hunger
Sworn to the Dark
Stellarvore
Storm of the Antichrist
Devil's Blood
And probably others, which I can't remember.

For me, the show of theirs before last is the high water mark.

yep I saw Tribulation, I missed their first song, but liked what I saw, despite the spandex, they were kinda jammy, which still captured the feel of their last album, I though sound wise their mix was the best, the sound down stairs didn't do in solitude or even Watain any favors, though Watain seemed to get their mix worked out as the set progressed but they sounded thin and very mid rangey when they went on

So after decades of starting shows two hours after the start time, and tacking on three unlisted bands, has the Masq finally decided to start shows on time? We heard the last Tribulation song while waiting at the ticket window. I'm gonna have to quit my job.

Watain kicked ass. I do miss the rotted meat, but I didn't have to undress in the garage. Hooray! And I'm really mad that Brian got blooded and I didn't.

I took photos of those because I couldn't tell what they were. I suspected they were pig heads. HOORAY!! I was hoping I could zoom in later and verify but all my photos are hella blurry.

I stumbled out just before Watain finished for some fresh air and went ahead and bailed. Completely blanked on that, sorry. Enjoyed Tribulation some and Watain a bit. Good Friday night.
