Got to hear some hot-off-the-press rough mixes of new material that Sybaritic is going to be playing Saturday. Abso-fucking-lutely killer stuff!

Everyone sucked except Sybaritic, who unfortunately had multiple guitar issues and vocals that cut in and out. I flat out disliked the venue. Ole RedHead said it best, "Homicidal had the potential to have potential". I think if those young bucks listened to a lot of real Thrash and practiced super hard for a year or two and the front man would lose his rockstar wannabe attitude, they could be pretty good.

Yeah, Homicidal were good, but could be better. The sound wasn't the best for them. Guitars too low in the mix, and vocals too high.

Sybaritic was excellent. First time I've seen them in a while, and with the new lineup. I've heard the new guitarist shreds and it's no exaggeration. The new material is great and they were very tight.

Wormreich's sound was awful. Was there one sound man the whole night?? If I could hear what they were doing, and if they weren't so cheesy they might have been better.

I'm the guitarist for Homicidal, yeah the sound guy and sound system was pretty bad. It's refreshing to hear someone tell us we suck for a change instead of saying we sound awesome and all that shit to us all the time, seriously. I've been looking for alittle criticism for a good while now. All I can say is that we're trying to get better at what we're doing and I'm pushing the band to write better/faster shit.
