I hope all goes well tonight, and I wish I could go. Living so far away sucks :(

Well, I did my civic duty. I not only ordered two beers but a shot of Glenfiddich, which costs almost as much as 3 beers heh. I also must have mistaken a 10 for a 1, because I think I tipped the bartender with it. :( Oh, well, she probably thinks I'm a really generous person, so it's all good.
That show kicked ass. You guys definitely rock. I'm hoping to talk a few of yall to come up to play in Rome. :D

My favorite bands last night were Sybaritic and Axial Discorrelation with Ecryptus as a close second. All of the bands did well and I got to see some bands I hadnt seen before. All in all alot of fun. And We actually got payed for playing it, I never dreamed we would get payed for the garbage we put on.

That, my friends, is why Meehans is so great! they will pay if the people come! We couldn't have done a better job promoting this show so... Great job to everyone in a band and thanks a shit load to those who came out! I am happy to see you guys thought it was worth the time and money for the bands!
oh fuck-off world i'll get you yet!

It's always great when you get paid for a show. I asked the guy at the door of Thee Imperial if we were going to get paid and he laughed.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. You guys should expect to be paid, imo. It's not as if you're just up there doing it for your health. I was told once that I should never give away a drawing or piece of art. (Of course, I've not always adhered to that because they make great gifts when you're broke - and my art won't be valuable until I'm dead.) I've never been a rock musician, but I think the same principle applies. It is one thing to play at a keg party where you're guaranteed all the free beer you want, but it's another to play in a club or something where people pay a cover charge or at least come in and buy drinks. Diarrheaspray I think you ought to ditch that joint. IMO that is one cheap bastard. He's benefiting from your work, and you're the ones that attracted his customers to him. I say fuck him and go get you a proper venue.

I understand what your saying but this obviously shows you have never witnessed Anal Secretion or listened to the "music."

You can't be picky when nobody knows who you are. It was our first show, after all, and nobody came to just see us
