it's looking like we'll have some special "one time only" shirts for this show.

it's a contest
can do paypal aswell and another logical reason (well MY reasoning that doesn't really matter to anyone else) is that spew will probably easily make presale since everyone knows them better whereas we're going to struggle quite a bit.. that's all i've got. no stickers or fancy merch for free but i can possibly sell you the ticket for $10 this once and just say screw profit

You'd be surprised. People just don't like buying tickets I think.

your faith in our ability to sell advance tickets is admirable... but poorly placed :D

@Jale- yeah I think you're right about that. I only buy tickets in advance if the advance price is alot cheaper than at the door or if I know the show will sell out at some point. Other than that, I'll pay at the door and avoid ticket masters shitty convenience charges lol

Really?? Ah well i just figured because you guys always pack out the local shows better than anyone else. Well then i guess this show just won't be as packed as the last DRI show

And MetalFreak, you may avoid ticketmaster fees but the Masquerade charges door fees of their own which are like 3-4 dollars on top of the ticket price. I'd suggest you pm me and save some cash!

Haha no one wants to buy advance tickets. Even if everyone that usually comes out where to come to DRI very few would buy advance just because no one ever makes a commitment to do anything until the day of.

I am sure there will still be a good crowd, I'd bet that the majority of people that came to the last show didn't buy advance tickets and that will almost certainly be the case this time.

The only difference this time is that the advance tickets are only $12 from us and you guys (instead of $14) because we're cutting out the $2 per ticket that the band usually gets to keep so the door price will be significantly more expensive than the pre sale from us. I'm guessing close to $18 at the door.

that's what i'm saying but people don't seem to get that. they don't realize that' there are shitty fees no matter where you go except the bands. and yeah i guess i was just basing this compared to deicide. not saying deicide was easy to sell tickets to but we definitely got a lot more offers for it. this is why i hate playing the masq

It just sucks because I don't want anyone at Masquerade giving us the evil eye for not selling 50.

that's difficult to do. load in's quite a bit earlier than the show. you could buy your own tickets and pray you sell them when people get there but i'd be too afraid to take that risk
