I really am over all the BS drama surrounding archive and this show. If anyone has an issue with me, come talk to me. I think that things have been totally blown out of proportion and miscommunicated.
I am glad that sadistic ritual is playing, the owner asked me to have a 4 band limit, which I talked thru and worked it out so that 5 bands could play and sadistic ritual was added last week. I re-designed the posters I silk screened to include them, because I want them to be part of the show and I am pleased that they are.
Sound-keep in mind archive is a fairly new spot, they had a really decent PA once, it was ruined by carelessness of people using it and the gallery has not had the money to replace it since-because most of the money goes to support the bands instead of the gallery...
For this show, I secured a PA and rented it with my own money-literally breaking the bank for a college student's wallet-used all my rent money to ensure the best sound possible, to please the fans and the bands. Why? because I realize when a band or a fan comes to a venue, good sound is expected- I have taken the responsibility of ensuring that those expectations are met by running around and making sure it happens. Please note I am not paid to do any of this by Archive or anyone, it is all volunteer, I am doing the best I possibly can.
I have made a lot of sacrifices for this show and for past shows, all of which I feel go unnoticed because of all the shit starters, whining about things that they think they know about. I think its pretty obvious that I'm not a 'poser' what are we 12?
Neal and I have worked together as a team to make this happen, I sincerely hope everyone has a good time- and on that note, the only people that I do not care to show their face at Archive are those who publicly defame, and talk shit on the venue. why would you come somewhere that you are so adamant about disliking, and why would I welcome you to come? If you're going to start shit on here or at the venue, don't bother coming, we will do fine without your negativity.
I will be selling these posters at the show tonight; I made them for you guys as a souvenir of what I hope is a kick ass time for all...

My friend told me Scott's car got broken into...and his gun got stolen. I'm not sure where he parked but that sucks! Ya know, I had a gun in my car too but it was in my trunk along with my laptop and a shitton of other things! (I brought all that stuff with me incase my apartment gets broken into while I'm home for Thanksgiving. Tallahassee's ghetto is next to my complex...it's small in area but that doesn't mean it's any less ghetto lol! I purposefully put my stuff out of sight cause I know this is Atlanta and people love breaking into cars here!)
Aside from all that, this was an amazing show! I missed Sadistic and Spew because I was still on 75N haha Caught most of Living Decay and of course Denial Fiend and OBITUARY! They sounded great! It was great seeing most of you guys too! I know I'm welcome in Atlanta when I pulled into the lot and some of y'all started banging on my car hahaha! It's good to be home!

I was wondering where that PA came from...now I know lol! Thanks Mel for renting it out. Hopefully Archive can buy one eventually (and that nobody fucks it up). This seems like it was a very successful show!
