All you FAGGOTS talking about what the fucking DUDE WEARS and HOW THEY DON'T LOOK METAL are really, really funny.
Exactly like the time I saw Daath at Lenny's. I came straight from work and was wearing a polo shirts, slacks, and dress shoes. I guess I wasn't "metal enough" to be there, so a dude who had 3' long dreads (that's metal, not polo shirts, guys) had to get punked in front of all his friends after he tried starting shit.
p.s. If that dude from Lenny's wants to have it out, be my guest. 1 on 1 is cool with me. Just don't wanna "talk shit" without "backing it up."
Seriously, pathetic, guys. Go there. Watch the bands. You don't dig them, who cares? But comparing the appearance of DUDES is beyond gay.

I don't know anything about you, but I'm pretty sure that Drew's got you beat in almost all areas of life, specifically intelligence and especially getting pussy.ScreamBloodyGore wrote:Also, there's something incredibly arrogant and infuriating about someone who, in the same day, creates an account only to confront a specific board member, and still sees it necessary to add not just one, but two fucking quotes to their signature.
BACK OFF BEFORE I PONTIFICATE, MOTHER FUCKER. YOU WOULDN'T LIKE IT WHEN I PONTIFICATE!
I'm 100% certain that there was nothing arrogant about him saying his piece. In a real world situation, one would not be expected to stay quiet when some random asshat started to attack one of the most important things in his life.
Who are YOU to speak for all of Atlanta metal? Last time I checked, From Exile was out there working their asses off. They're putting themselves out there and they're earning great shows. What is your band doing besides hanging out in one of your moms' basements?Blarg! wrote:I couldent tell it was sarcasm because looking at your stage presence, and reading the post,I really was not suprised.
And who are you to speak for all of atlanta metal on the subject of the scene? You just might be the least metal person in atlanta.
So why did you post here in the first place if you rather people diden't give you opinions on the internet? asshole.
There is somthing to be gained from people and forums you do and dont enjoy,If you were smart you would know that
& a pissing contest over who wore what shirt? I love that metal is still stuck in some fucked up dark age where dudes with style are still considered to be gay. Shit like that is why I choose not to look like a metalhead and associate myself with anything but listening to the music. That and I like looking like myself, and not just another person wearing a Belphegor shirt.
I haven't heard such retarded bullshit since high school.
Seriously, you guys need to grow up.
I'm late posting about this show and there's not much to say since most everyone was there, but I had a great time. I was glad see a few familiar faces and meet a few more of you. And of course, as it's been said, seeing Enslaved was legendary. I couldn't believe I was actually hearing "Allfadr Odinn." Attendance wasn't as large as I was hoping it would be, but it was obvious this time that everyone wanted to be there. Props to everybody there.

Probably the best post in the thread!MS_39455 wrote:I'm late posting about this show and there's not much to say since most everyone was there, but I had a great time. I rest my case.ScreamBloodyGore wrote: Oh, and if you're looking from positive feedback from the audience, you may consider wearing something that doesn't have "End War" printed on it, while the majority of the audience (aside from the few thirty-year-olds who I'm assuming were friends of your band) are wearing Belphegor shirts.

That would be valid if that's what was actually going on.ScreamBloodyGore wrote:Alright, I'll be sure to sit out the next time a local band member has requested we criticize their performance.
And before this turns into a game of "HAY, I MORE METL THN U", I'd just like to point out that I automatically win.
Edit- that was directed at Holly.
It's like the other thread where everyone is telling the dude he's bad because he's bad.
If you can't actually articulate what the problem is, then it's not really constructive.

I really don't see how there is not a connection between bands and the clothes they wear. That sounds completely stupid at first, but it's true.RichOfSilence wrote:I rest my case.ScreamBloodyGore wrote: Oh, and if you're looking from positive feedback from the audience, you may consider wearing something that doesn't have "End War" printed on it, while the majority of the audience (aside from the few thirty-year-olds who I'm assuming were friends of your band) are wearing Belphegor shirts.
Image plays a large part in metal and hell, live music in general no matter what the genre. That's part of the reason why all those black metal bands dress the way they do. It'd be dumb to base your opinion on the quality of music on the clothes, but nobody here did that. Someone just basically said that he looked out of place.
