That is completely unprofessional behavior. The masq should've told them the conditions beforehand. What a bullshit business practice

It was a pretty great show. Of course, a few things that kind of sagged it. Of course, even when Legion X cancelled, the bands still had to narrow down to a smaller song list.

In Solitude was really neat. Nice 1981 heavy metal feel for it. While I surely enjoyed it, I just wished the Masq would allow them at least two more songs.

Song List:
We Were Never Here
To Her Darkness
On Burning Paths

The Devil's Blood was an excellent experience. Of course, it is indeed a different vibe for it is more of the 1960s-70s psychedelic satanic rock. Fans of Coven (Jinx Dawson), Jefferson Airplane, and BOC. I loved it like always. But again, I wish they were given a chance to squeeze in two more songs without having to do two with the third being the extended version of Christ and Cocaine.

Song List:
The Thousandfold Epicentre
Voodoo Dust
Christ or Cocaine (Extended)

Watain was good. But seems neutered, either the Masq got on their asses about dead animals or they werent the main headline and the masq didnt want the stink to linger before the main act. I dont know. Of course again, short song list.

Song List:
Malfeitor
Reaping Death
Sworn to the Dark
Total Funeral
Waters of Ain

Behemoth was better than I expected. I walked with doubt but figured to make up for it when I originally wanted to see them when I was in high school. They were pretty amazing. Nergal just brought forth of instead of the usual crushing force, it was a "Hey! I am back! Healthy again, now let's get crushing!" kind of feel of it. While they sang their usual, I was excited when they sang Moonspell Rites. Not exactly like their '94 EP, but it was good enough for me.

Song List:
Ov Fire and Void
Demigod
Moonspell Rites(!)
Conquer All
The Thousand Plagues I Witnessed
Alas, Lord is Upon Me
The Seed ov I
Decade of Therion
At The Left Hand ov God
Slaves Shall Serve
Chant for Eschaton 2000
23 (The Youth Manifesto)
Lucifer

It was a great show. It would have been the best if three other bands were given a chance to squeeze in a few more songs. Especially with the songs they did in other cities.

In Solitude's in Kansas:
(Same, but with:)
The World, The Flesh, The Devil,
Witches Sabbath (FUUUUUCK!)

The Devil's Blood's in Pennsylvania:
(three above, but with:)
Unending Singularity
On The Wings of Gloria
Fire Burning
The Time of No Time
Evermore
And a couple of unknown ones.

Watain's in San Diego, CA:
(four out of the five songs above, but with:)
Underneath the Cenotaph
Devil's Blood (fuck me... It was my favorite song and they didnt do that)
The Serpent's Chalice
Wolves Curse
Stellavore

Ah well, hope they come back around again for a longer song list if granted.

Holy frijoles, JägerWolf. WELL DONE. I heard Devil's Blood only played three songs, but I didn't realize Watain only played five. Thank you for this.

I don't feel so bad about missing most of the bands since they barely played any songs! The show started so fucking early and then the sets are bloody short! What the fuck's up with that?
