contribute. move things along. it's whatever you make of it.
give it 110%. do it for the kids. if they put one of yours in the hospital, you put one of theirs in the morgue. so that it doesn't happen to someone else. success comes in cans not can'ts. get er done. nigga please.

I'm failing to see how Cauldron Born is "gay metal".

No Atlanta metal scene AT ALL.
We're only home to the largest prog/power metal festival in North America.
But you're completely right.

Not much to add that Bob, Eyal and Kelly haven't already said, but I think Atlanta has a hell of a scene...They just don't know it. There are a handful of great bands (and a larger handful of bands with serious potential), a lot of Metal fans, and a few decent venues if you count in-town proper as well as mentioning the venues in the burbs without too much condescenscion.
The trick is bringing them all together. Bands/fans/venues And honestly, it's happening...very slowly, but it is happening. A lot of the bands are being a lot more supportive of each other these days, hanging out, going to each other's shows, etc. More fans are crossing over and not just being a fan of "band X," but rather local music supporters in general. The venues are harder to work with if you're just starting out but like Kelly said, they've gotta pay the bills too.
Fuck it...grab a guitar and a brew and keep on chuggin'.
Cheers to the Ant-hill!
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Dude, you're just fucking retarded. I'd just try not to misspell simple words like "listen" because it looks a little bit ridiculous for you to be talking down to me when you write like a three year old.
I would match wits with you, sir, but I'm afraid I don't dual with an un-armed man.

Yeah the bands of today are definitely more supportive than they were several years ago, so perhaps it's building, slowly. The biggest hurdle will be getting people to start going to shows regularly. Right now it seems like the bands have to invite people they know for any sort of good turn out.
Somebody needs to buy Langford Sound and Stage, it was a nice venue, but they ran out of money.

That's true, but when you're unsigned and have no marketing budget, a lot of your fans tend to also be your friends. You just have to build it from there. On the other hand, as you play more and more shows in the same market, the fans who weren't previously your friends become your friends so it's actually pretty cool. Hell, people have even started talking to our drummer at shows! haha (er-um, I guess that's only funny if you know him)
As far as regularly attending shows...to be honest it can be pretty hard to keep up with. Lots of bands playing lots of gigs... But it all starts with a supportive attitude and cool ass people. Speaking of which...Yo Vince when's the next Rocky Mountain Metal Night?
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

So you're better than me because your life revolves around fighting over the internet and listening to a bunch of guys in corpse paint that don't know how to play their instruments?

I wish you had something to back up your arguement rather than just using "gay" over and over again.
My problem with black metal is that it feels like a big gimmick. There's not enough attention on the music, it's all on the stage shows, the satanic rituals, etc. They spend too much time creating an image and trying to shock people and not enough making music.
There's my reason why I don't like your music. Now can I get an intelligent reason why you don't like mine?
