ew that sucks. why at night? When WRAS has meetings, they always schedule 3-4 time slots so that people have a choice of which one to go to because the GM knows everyone has a different schedule! (which also means the GM is at all 3-4 of them oh well)Mitch wrote:LOL.
Anyway, I'd like to go to this show, but there's no way I'm missing the WREK staff meeting at the GT student center that night! jk
anyways, I may not be able to go. I fly in from Ohio the night before and will be moving into a new apartment the day of this show. It all depends on my boyfriend though since he would be driving.

They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
This will be one of the darkest shows the Atlanta area has seen in quite a long time. AND, it's purely Atlanta bands!!! This is a rare alignment of the moons.
Yeah, I know the Melvins are playing but if you are torn over it or procrastinating at all, you should go to the melvins. I'd love to see the Melvins too but we'd rather be a part of this event showcasing atlanta's dark side of the metal scene. This show will reach from deep in the shadows and is not intended for partying or "rocking out". We intend to influence deep self-awareness and potential liberation for those willing to see themselves for what they really are and study new perspective.
Heh,
Mike

It's retarded. They always have the staff meetings the night before the new semester starts. I don't know why.Metalfreak wrote:ew that sucks. why at night? Mike, any idea what time you guys go on? I'd like to see both this show and the Melvins if possible.

Well ultimately it's just a matter of taste..Brian wrote:Ah, but so do all of the bands on this bill.Blarg! wrote:Keep in mind that the Melvins play here again shortley after.
Melvins are coming to Athens, and for those of us without a car (like me) it is much easier to get to the Drunken Unicorn than to the 40 Watt.
