Why the fuck would the Masquerade think it necessary to cancel this? Do they think this would be nothing less than a packed show??

obviously there's other dates too.

I emailed back asking them about this... *fingers crossed*

Yeah I saw that...but Heavy Hitter was still including dates for that Enslaved/Keep of Kalessin tour up until recently and that thing was cancelled months ago. So I just think they haven't updated their list of dates.

Yeah, It's officially in Spartanburg. it's my understanding that the masquerade only canceled because they got a sweet offer from the city of Atlanta for that day. Just a simple business decision.

It does suck a bit, especially cause it's my b-day and was hoping to be home for it. It would have ruled.

I'm trying to get the venue to offer a discount to those who show their GA ID at the door. just to help offset the inconveneince of driving from ATL. I'll let you guys know if it works out.

Pat, if you make it, that would rule. We'll have to blaze up for my b-day celebration!!!

Ok, here's the deal. Anyone 21+ that shows up at Ground Zero with an out of state ID will get a free drink ticket!! Compliments of GZ and Withered since we lost our home show. See you freaks there!!! It's gonna be awesome!!

Yeah there is some big Carribean festival at the Masquerade that weekend being held in the music park so they'll be making bank.

What are the chances I can hitch a ride with one of you to catch this show?

I wish that I could, brother. But travelling from Decatur to Atlanta is just about all that I can manage, just now. And I'm not even sure that I can manage that.
