Check out the article below. Alexi Laiho will be filling in for HYPOCRISY on the upcoming ENSIFERUM tour.

“Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have enlisted CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho to play guitar on their upcoming North American tour. Alexi will temporarily fill the currently vacant guitarist spot on the trek, which will also include headliners ENSIFERUM alongside EX DEO, BLACKGUARD and SWASHBUCKLE.â€Â￾

Me either...everyone will shun me for this but COB is one of my favorite bands...they were one of the 1st bands that got me into metal.

But Alexi is known for messing up solos live so I'm just saying it's kinda weird...people might get pissed. It will be cool to see him though.

I use to be really in Children of Bodom, but I got burned out on them. Their new stuff sucks and everything sounds like Mario on a drum machine to me now, but Alexi Laiho is a really good guitarist. I have seen Children of Bodom 3 times. Personally, I think he will do a good job. He knows how to throw a pretty good live show.

Yeah I don't like Are You Dead Yet and Blooddrunk but I still love the old stuff.

I'm mostly excited to see Ensiferum anyways...Hypocrisy's new one is good but I still can't really get into their older stuff for some reason.

Personally, I think this is a killer line-up. Ensiferum is one of my favorite folk metal bands. Even though they are from Finland, lol. I really enjoy Hypocrisy, but it is like you said they have done things with their music I'm not crazy about; however, with Ensiferum, I personally love everything they have put out so far. Ex Deo is a little cheesy, but they are alright to me. I would love to see what it sounds like live. Blackguard was really good when I saw them at Summer Slaughter, so I know they will be fun.

I could care less...I like Kataklysm but Ex Deo bored me to death. Hopefully they don't add some shitty locals and just extend everyone's set.

I just read that in a bulletin on Myspace. I really hope everything works out fine for them, because I will be really upset if they don't show up. I think Lazarus A.D. maybe replacing Ex Deo on this tour. I'm fine with that. I'm not big on Lazarus A.D., but they are a decent a band and they have a good live set.

Well if you remember it took Necrophagist about 6 days to get into the States during the 1st Summer Slaughter and fortunately the 1st date they played was Atlanta and the Atlanta date is the 4th day so hopefully they'll make it.

I just found out I'm officially off work for this. I'm gonna try to get rail if my friends leave early enough. See you guys there.

:D
