Abigail Williams has officially dropped off their scheduled tour with Nile, Immolation, and Krisiun, which kicks off this week in Baltimore, Maryland. The cancellation is the result of a "recent injury" to drummer Ken Meyers, though details have yet to be disclosed.

Couldn't care less.

Actually, Abigail William's lead singer is one of the few core singers I respect. He actually really knows his black metal. He even has an atmospheric black metal project.

I listened to Dreaming Dead the other day and I'm really into their music. It is a melodic death metal band fronted by a female vocalist, but unlike Arch Enemy I believe she plays lead guitar. Some of the riffs sound a little bit like Dissection.

Does anyone want the setlists or do you want to be surprised? I figured I'd ask first this time before spoiling it for anyone.

Metalsetlists.com

If I can't find em there, I just go to the band's forum or setlist.fm or just google it.

Some people like to know before (like me) but I know others don't wanna know anything and like to be surprised so I figured I'd ask first.

Eh... it's just his delivery i can't take - too high pitched i guess.

BTW, read this, checked out Dreaming Dead's myspace... love it. So that's 4 bands i am REALLY looking forward to!

hmmm I never actually thought about it unless the band themselves posts a poll to see what their fans want to hear or if it's Metallica (you know everyone wants to hear the old shit) yeah so other than that, I don't care too much. Probably cause I know they'll play most of their good songs anyways...only time I was ever dissappinted was Marilyn Manson in 07 or something (the fist time they played with Slayer) and my god, he played a bunch of gay vampire shit and none of his good songs! Yeah sometimes a band will omit a really good song but they probably get tired of playing the same songs over and over again. Haha I guess this was a long-winded way of saying I don't care what songs are played as long as they're good and I don't need to know the setlist before hand and I don't really care about being surprised either (for instance, it's no surprise that CC will be playing Hammer Smashed Face at the end of every set!) 8)

Anyways, I'm lookin forward to this show!

Some people like to know...some don't. I don't like to know spoilers for other things but I always like to know for concerts. Sometimes I want to see if they're playing a bunch of new stuff (if I like or hate the new album) and sometimes I want to see if they're playing a bunch of old stuff (Children of Bodom for example) and if they're playing a bunch of shit I don't like, I won't have to waste my money. Another reason is that if it's a band I like but don't have every album from, I can see what albums they're playing off of in the setlist and download those albums to hear those songs. I also just like knowing so I can listen to the songs in that order on my ipod/itunes/car to get ready for the show. That's just my take on it.
