Nobody said anything disheartening about 585 I have respect for people who try to keep a diy space like that open so bands especially new bands have a place to play. I've helped run a few of them over the years so I know how tough that is. What I take offense to is people on this site thrash talking while at the same having conversation with you via e-mail about having the same said fest at 585. I simply called one individual out same as anyone would in the same position. Nothing to do with 585. Hell I refer bands there all the time.

Floyd, you're a fucking idiot. Just because you've done shit in the past doesn't mean you did it well. Everyone that knows you talks shit about how you book the worst shows and can't even do that right. You've gotten banned from doing shows at the neutron bomb and pretty much 585 too. You may have experience but it's a lot of experience of fucking things up and being a retard.

Yeah I've promoted a lot of shows since 1987 all around the US and in some foreign countries too. I don't really make a big deal about it. And never really bring it up. Out of those something like IDK about 7,000 or so shows I will be the first to admit not every one of them packed the house. But then again I don't know of any promoter or venue that has a sell out every time. I'm pretty sure even 585 has had it share of shows where only the bands and their 10 friends showed up. Hell I've been to a few of them.

And if you promote shows that long you get your share of shit talking haters. The Masquerade has their share. Swayze's has their share and I'm pretty sure 585 will eventually get their share. That's what happens when you put yourself out there where you not going to make everybody happy. When bands don't get on the killer show they think they deserve or venues don't get those awesome shows they think they should get. I got a lot of haters that why they call this HATE CITY fool. And I don't let haters like you bring me down I'm too jaded for that.

People hated me when I first got to Atlanta because I was getting killer shows and putting them in venues that I liked to hang out in such as Lenny's where nobody was doing shows and not the status venues. Because I was booking the local bands I liked and not the status bands of the day. Promoters hated me because I was like this new kid on the block doing all the good shows and they couldn't figure out why so and so band that they booked their last tour were now coming to me. Not knowing I may be new here but it ain't my first rodeo. And I've had a few of these haters like you try to steal shows not knowing that so and so band and I already had a long long happy history. So I don't know I must be doing something right and not a complete retard.

And yeah some people hate me for my politics because I back those up too and they don't even know what their politics are much less stick to them. Some people hate me cause they caught a deserving steel toe or two from me in day. Some people hate me because from time to time I can be a complete douchebag. But I ain't never claimed to be no saint. Some people hate me simply because I exist where they don't think I belong. But you know what 10 years later I'M STILL FUCKING HERE and I'm still doing what I like to do and with the people whom stood with me during all that shit. And we've gotten stronger. The haters I can't say the same for. They spend to much time hating to sustain anything good.

Wow is the Neutron Bomb still around? That was so 7 years ago. I did like 5 shows there and only one flopped because no one in town knew who the hell NO FRAUD was. I've only done one show at 585 that was a short noticed like less than one week to promote RAT BABIES, DAMNESIA and IN RUINS. I think there were about as many people there as for the MASS GRAVE show that had months to promote. Usually I just refer bands there.

But worst shows really? I book bands I like period. Whether it's a local band that by the way you just insulted everyone one of them and the people that support them. Or a traveling band that doesn't have "cool status" I book and promote them because I dig their music period. Not everybody likes the bands I like and I don't like all the bands everybody else likes. So when I book a band like BLOODY SODS, COS, STOOL SAMPLE, CLITORTURE, BODIES IN THE GEARS, NO FRAUD, I OBJECT or RESISTANT CULTURE I don't expect every body to show up but I know I'm gonna be there and have one amazing time whether people get it or not. If that makes me a retard GOOD!

You can continue to debate this but I'm done. I got a life to live.

Yeah Resistant Culture finally makes it to Georgia and it's at Lenny's (12 days before I turn fucking 21) = I can't get in.

I hoped they would've booked at 585 instead. Mark?

I've just got two other shows I working on for the 20th October. One's going to Lenny's if they want to swap. If so Whorgasm said they would be open by early October and take Resistant Culture they're going to be all ages. The other show will definitely be at the Tabernacle.

is there still a fly in the room mumbling names under his breath like a 5 year old? you say that to my face and I will totally respect you as a man.

Booking at Tabernacle? That's a pretty big gig. What do you have going there?
