It's almost a moral obligation. Or something.
I feel the same way lol
I do like some of the Scorpions stuff and I'm not too familiar with Ratt. Yes, I know what they sound like and have heard their stuff, I just don't know any lyrics and never really cared to learn.
I did see The Scorpions back in '02 though so it's not like I've never seen them before. oh, and it was with Deep Purple and DIO! Good show.
Since this is on a Wednesday night, I most likely won't be going cause of class. Unless class gets canceled. or something. hmmm...
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

"No One Like You" over & over & over and if my neighbors are lucky it's before 9 pm but sometimes they're not so lucky.

Oooh, they're doing "Holiday" and "The Zoo," two of my favorite lesser-known Scorps songs.
$14 for lawn tickets is pretty reasonable. Cheaper than the $50 I shelled out for a Braves ticket on Tuesday.

(And that was $25 cheaper than face!)

How's the view from the lawn though? Never been there so I have no idea. Heck I've never even been to a major stadium type show.

Not bad. It's a small venue. Saw Priest there and had lawn seats.

I've been listening to the Scorpions pretty much since birth but have never seen them live. I pretty much have to hit this.
It'd be worth every penny just to hear the song "Blackout" live. Killer tune.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Just back from the venue with tickets in hand.
Thought someone might want to know that there are actually no lawn tickets. The cheapo tickets are the chairs in the very back corners. But the lady that gave me my tickets said you'd be allowed to move to the back lawn if you wanted. Which is what I'll do.

The Scorpions ruled my face! Solid set. Great production (lights/sound/etc.), and the band killed it. Klaus's voice isn't quite as strong as it used to be, but when I think about the fact that he's my dad's age I can't really take anything away from the guy. He still sounded really good. The guitars, however, were straight lethal. I wanted to go home and practice afterwards.
Saw Tommy chillin' on the lawn about 10 feet away from Karl from Nile.
The place seemed pretty cool. But the beer prices were ri-god-damn-diculous.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Ratt & roll! What a great show. I ducked out a little early to catch Death of Kings. Did they eventually play Big City Nights?

Yeah. It was pretty funny actually. Klaus kept screaming "Atlantaaaaaaaaa" but the three giant screens behind him were flashing Alpharetta.

I was so torched I didn't even know where I was, much less the venue. He coulda been screaming, "Coooooooooome onnnnnnnnnn, Mah-driiiiiiiiiiid!" And I would'nt have noticed.
Tommy, you missed "No One Like You (Atlaaaaaaaantaaaaaaah!)," and "Rock You (Like A Hurricane)." Also missed Rob falling over and rolling down the lawn.
