3 more bands have been confirmed for MDF 2011:

LOCK UP (UK)
AURA NOIR (Norway)
GOATSNAKE

It looks like the other headliners for MDF 2011 will be announced sometime in October, if not before then.

You can expect some more bands to be announced between now and October.

We'll also be announcing the date that 3-day passes will go on sale sometime in the near future.

Pretty stoked about Aura Noir!
What do you mean I'm not kind, just not your kind.

Lookin good already. But as usual, you can't get your hope up until the week before because of cancellations.

Aura Noir going means Virus should play

that would ensure my attendance next year

I mean it makes enough sense since they have a new album coming out and all

‎8 more bands have been confirmed for MDF 2011:

MARDUK (Sweden), ORANGE GOBLIN (UK), INQUISITION, GRAVEHILL, NAILS, MAMMOTH GRINDER, PULLING TEETH, INNUMERABLE FORMS

We were hoping to have quite a few more bands ready to announce today, including another headliner for next year, but it's going to take a bit more time for some things to finalize before they can be announced.
See you in Hell!

Marduk and Aura Noir, fucking awesome. Neurosis will rule also. I'm planning to go.

I like stoner doom but it is going to be weird to have that much at a festival called deathfest. Marduk, Inquisition, and Innumerable Forms is a good choice. I have been listening to Inquisition and I'm pretty pumped for them. They need to announce another mind blowing rarity. I like Marduk but their not too uncommon. Maybe some Bolt Thrower will do :D

yeah I agree with this.

Bolt Thrower just needs to do a full US tour already. Carcass did and it worked.

Speaking of Carcass...they should play MDF!

I keep holding out for another At the Gates show since Senor Lindberg will already be there with Lock Up.

I'm thinking Disfear again is more likely, which is fine by me. You can never see them too many times. On another note, NAILS, Pulling Teeth, and Mammoth Grinder are all fantastic bands.
See you in Hell!
