See, I'm kinda torn with all things Sepultura.
On one hand, I think they made their best music and had the best chemistry with the Max/Andreas/Paulo/Igor lineup. Those albums are classics. Untouchable.
On the other hand, Andreas was always their strongest songwriter and Derrick Greene is a killer vocalist/frontman. Against kicks all kinds of ass. Nation was solid. Roorback and Dante...less solid, but still had some good tracks, and I've heard good things about A-Lex as well. Their output has been a helluva lot more interesting than Max's (and I actually dig Soulfly).
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

I'll be there!
and yeah, I agree that Sepultura's newer stuff isn't all that great but damn, this may be my only chance to get to see this band!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I liked the first song from Against when it came out. I checked out a few songs from it today, and could barely get past a few riffs per song. Terrible stuff. But I tried.
I'd like to try give this and the later albums a chance but it's hard when you can't get past through the first few songs or riffs.

Bah. I'd honestly go to see Keep of Kalessin more than any other, but I won't be in Atlanta anymore in April. I'll be in Virginia, and I don't see a date for VA for KoK. Balderdash!

Dear Belphegor:
I hope your visa business is handled this time. You
wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
