Direcciones, por favor.
I'll be heading into Atlanta from them thar hills out east (Rockdale Co.) and thus taking 20 W. Google maps offers the possibility of weaving my way through Little 5, but ... well, that will be my backup. If I take 75/85 N from I-20, can I get off on Freedom Pkwy and get to Highland from there? I would much appreciate a suggestion or two, as I'm not familiar with that area, being a suburban sluggard.
Ah, or I could take Boulevard off of 20, straight to Highland. I think I've answered my own question.

Freedom Pkwy intersects with N. Highland. You should be fine.DeathfareDevil wrote:Direcciones, por favor.

Damn had to leave early but wolves and jackals were good except the vocalist who didn't fit in at all. vegan coke was pretty good, really psychedelic stuff, i approve.
Oh and tony (was it?), I realized that the band they were playing was Ghost.
Oh and Doomed Youth, the guy at the door almost didn't let me in because he said the show was 18+... just sayin'

haha yeah, that's been discussed on here before if i'm not mistaken. lamar is a good guitar player but the vocals don't fit at all.aaron wrote:Damn had to leave early but wolves and jackals were good except the vocalist who didn't fit in at all.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

I had an awesome time. I only was able to catch Doomed Youth and Royal Thunder.
It was my first time seeing Doomed Youth and it was awesome. It was exactly what I was in the mood for right at that moment. I already thought it was good, and then they busted out with a Nuclear Assault cover and I had to move up front.
I enjoyed Royal Thunder this show way better than their show at the Earl recently with Maserati. The set leaned more towards the older stuff. The amount of new songs they played was perfect for what I wanted to hear.
Good seeing everyone and drinking and having fun.

Where do people park there? I was on the bridge, and only because I happened to catch someone leaving a space. The Jack's lot was obviously out of the question. I drove up and down that strip three or four times, wondering where I was least likely to be towed. (This is what happens when you've let designated drivers take care of logistics for most of your life. I feel like Mr. fucking Magoo when trying to make my way around solo.)ScreamBloodyGore wrote:Those of you who regularly park on the bridge may want to reconsider. Someone tried to break into the passenger side door of our car and ruined the lock.
The show was great, especially Doomed Youth and Royal Thunder; Mlny's vocals get better everytime I see them.
If there're no spots at Jack's we always park down the small street which is perpendicular Jack's road, the one that starts at the stop sign. Usually there are 2 or 3 spots next to the houses and is well lit. I wouldn't go any further into some of those allies where I've seen a couple of people park before, sketch as fuck.DeathfareDevil wrote:Where do people park there?ScreamBloodyGore wrote:Those of you who regularly park on the bridge may want to reconsider.
