Show was kickass. Mangled slayed as is the norm, Coffin Dust was ok but to me seemed better on the demo. And Organ Donor was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be buying their stuff in the future. One thing that was kind of annoying though is that the crowd thinned out so much after the locals. I am all for supporting local bands and the scene here, plus i know it was a wednesday night, but why not stick around to see at least some of the touring bands?

The show last night was completely wild. Both bands told me it was by FAR the best night of their whole tour and they had a blast. Every band was awesome but Organ Donor, holy shit! That was incredible!

This show was great, my first at 529 (I don't live in ATL so I have an excuse...). A few things that struck me:

1 - Why not have bands start at 9ish? Some people have jobs/school/lives and can't hang out til 1:30. The Masquerade figured this out over a decade ago and started having shows start earlier.

2 - Mangled is a good bit tighter than when I saw you open for Ghoul a year+ ago in the basement. Y'all rocked it!

3 - Coffin Dust I liked better on youtube than live. Don't know if its the material or the sound or what, but it just didn't hold my interest very well. The crowd started thinning at this point.

4 - Organ Donor was awesome! Nuff said.
