I actually ended up with gifted a ticket from my boss.
Suicidal Tendencies sound was absolute dogshit, their performance also matched that sentiment.
Pantera had some poorly mic'd drums for the first half of their set, then Charlie moved to the other kit across the circle and the sound vastly improved. They were fine, overall.
Metallica kicked ass, opened with Creeping Death & For Whom the Bell Tolls. The setlist ebbed and flowed til closing out the set with some classic songs (One, Seek & Destroy (them releasing beach balls for this song baffled me though...really took away the intensity of what the song can bring), Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman).
The setlist can ALWAYS be better for Metallica, but it was still good stuff!
*I was up in the 300 section, which definitely could have impacted sound of the earlier sets versus being floor or 100 section
