My opinion (for what it's worth...which ain't much):
Agony Scene - Decent band, crap mix.
Mortis - God Awful! I'm open to drum machines and synths but you've got to add something to the live element to make it entertaining/interesting and that was not the case. Anyone, and I mean ANYFUCKINGONE could have played those riffs and beats on the spot with no prior knowledge of the music. Apparently he is rebelling against the talent of his former band.
Himsa - again...decent band, crap mix
Behemoth - Fucking incredible band, crap mix.
Chimaira - Decent band, decent show, awesome mix. (It actually kinda pissed me off after Behemoth's mix was so weak.) I'll say this though, Kevin Talley is the best thing that has ever happened to that band...period! I do have to agree with Holly about the strobes though. If I were epilleptic, I would have bitten off my tongue.
Danzig - Great set, great sound, great backup band, I was about to go outside and hand out some flyers (for the Package show this Saturday, Oct. 29th at Mulligans*) but they started playing the Hunter so I had to go back in.

The Misfits set - Phenomenal! just incredible. I know it's punk, and punk is easy, but the energy of it, the freakish hulking presence of Doyle (Regarding the question about his diet, I've heard that the guy eats nothing but steak. After seeing him, I believe it.), and actually hearing Danzig singing those songs live made my whole week. They played Last Caress! I lost my mind...and my wallet. (It's a red, gator-skin(I think) money clip. I'd really like to get it back if anyone happened to find it.)
Anyway, that's it. Great show overall. Glad I went even though it meant spending Saturday morning at the DMV.
