Not yet.
I spent 2 months there in summer of 08 and their 'scene' is pretty small. There's a few local bands, a few venues along the
main drag but as far as I could tell, not very many metalheads...things could have changed since then though. Either way, Colubus is a really cool city though.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

wow I missed an M in Columbus. But yeah, Columbus Ohio is what I was talking about...not Columbus GA. I was at Ohio State that summer doing an internship.

I wasn't very clear. I meant that Columbus can't be very cool because it is *in* Ohio.

Great list but really bummed it's not in Atlanta. Maybe Masquerade can weigh in on the decision not to come here.

meh, I've seen most of those bands already.

Looks like they're spreading it out over 4 venues too.

I'm really disappointed that this isn't going to be in Atlanta. I really enjoyed the festival last year.

My guess is that negotations somehow went sour.

That lineup is pretty solid. It's a shame that they won't be playing here.

So I understand how Scion's association with Nachtmystium could potentially tarnish their reputation with ultra-sensitive assholes. But how the fuck is Cannibal Corpse, in all their infamy, a better representative of the Scion name and festival than a band that once belonged to a tiny label which apparently held National Socialist beliefs?

Mind ist fucked.

That would have been really awesome in Atlanta. Oh well, no use getting upset over what I can't control.

Not as good of a line-up as last year, but I still would have liked to have seen it.
